Discover the Love of Christ

Children's Ministry

Sunday Programs

Life Groups - Sunday, 9:45 a.m.
These classes are designed to help children, from babies through 5th grade, discover the Bible in the first years of their lives. This will be a place where children learn that Jesus loves them. Children are placed in small groups where they hear stories, make art projects, play games, and learn songs.

Extended Teaching Care - Sunday 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
This is an extension of Life Groups for babies through children in kindergarten, during the worship service.

Children’s Church - Sunday 11:15 a.m.
A service for children in 1st through 5th grade, designed to teach children how to worship God. This service is personalized for this age group and prepares them for adult worship services with age-appropriate music, and messages.

Wednesday Programs - 6:00 p.m.

Weekday Preschool
Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 11:30 a.m.
September – May

We welcome you and your child, ages 3-4 to the Weekday Preschool Ministry of First Baptist Church. We join with you as we seek to accomplish the vitally important task of guiding your child’s physical, mental, social, emotional and moral/spiritual development.

Our curriculum provides a specific topic for each session. The sequence of the topics is developmental in emphasis as teachers build foundations and plan seasonal activities. We share songs, Bibles stories, teaching pictures, Bible thoughts, and conversation as they provide activities in the area of art, blocks, books, puzzles, nature, home living, and music.
